Casa Alianza Christmas Appeal

While the holidays bring some people joy, it is also a sad and difficult time for the less fortunate around us. The Casa Alianza needs your help this holiday season. They are a safe haven for homeless children in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras & Mexico.

On behalf of Casa Alianza, Suzanne and SuzanneVega.com are making an appeal to her fans to reach out and help others in their time of need.

For more information on Casa Alianza and on how to donate, please visit their site.

New NYT Post

In her latest post, "Which Side Are You On?", for the New York Times blog, "Measure for Measure",  Suzanne also talks about her Puerto Rican roots and touches on racism and what this meant for her growing up in NYC. Suzanne also offers up the demo of a track called "My Daddy is White" which eloquently touches on similar issues. Read the words, listen to the song and don't forget to leave a comment.
